Nino will be in a movie again~<3

This time Nino plays Ryuhei Kagura, a genius DNA analyst on the run after being wrongly suspected of murder in an investigation he is working on.
He is chased by a detective played by Toyokawa Etsushi.

The movie, [プラチナデータ] - Platina Data - (Platinum Data), revolves around genetic research in the year 2017.
It is based on the novel of the same name by Edgar Allan Poe Award nominee, Higashino Keigo.
(Nominated for Best Novel for 'Devotion of Suspect X'. The award is organized by Mystery Writers of America and will be held in April.)

This is Nino's second collaboration with his work after the drama Ryuusei no Kizuna.
For his role, Nino is studying up on DNA and genetics research and crime investigation.

Keishi Ohtomo will be in the director's seat. His previous works include NHK's Ryoumaden series and the upcoming movie adaptation of Rurouni Kenshin.

Platina Data is planned to be released next year, 2013.
It will be filmed from this February to April.
The film promises to have action scenes worthy of Hollywood.
