Aiba will be the navigator for a nature documentary film produced by NHK Entreprise.

The film is titled "Nihon rettou - Ikimonotachi no monogatari" (Japan's Islands - Tales of the animals).

The filming is still ongoing for over two and a half years, covering families of animals in the various islands of Japan throughout the changing seasons.

20 top nature filmmakers are involved in the production. There are plans for the docu-movie to be distributed in over 50 countries worldwide.
One of the aims of the production is to introduce Japan's bountiful nature to foreigners.

Aiba will provide the voice narration for the movie, a first for him. He was chosen for his well-known love of animals and background working on the animal show, Tensai! Shimura Doubutsuen.

The planned release is the beginning of Spring 2012.
