May be this is a stupid question, but I just wonder when you first know Arashi?  You know, all our fangirls are from many difference countries, (like me, I am from Canada.  bye bye ), so I just get this question in my head. ( laugh may be I am stupid!  laugh :rlol:)

 ok, me first, first time I know Arashi because of Jun acting in HYD, (for the true, I watched HYD not because of Jun, is for other actor, sorry.  :heehee: chair ) and I found out Jun's acting was so good, than I start searching about him, and than I found Arashi, and of course I be a fan for these boys.  :yes: lol

I not sure it is the right place to post this question, if not, sorry, and please let me know if need to delete, thanks. bow3

I think there already is a topic for this one I think. If not, many new members who joined automatically explained how they first got in to Arashi already, but I don't think there's a rule regarding double-posting? I'll have to search to see if there's any topic similar to this one (anyone wanna search?).

But just in case, I'll start.

Been a fan since March 2002 from a televised STAND UP! HAWAII at a local Asian channel here in my town. It wasn't until May or June 2002 that I was able to hear one of their songs. All or Nothing was the first song that I've heard and it literally hooked me in to becoming a fan. ARASHI Singles Collection 1999-2001 was the first album I bought from them because that was the only one available at a local Kinokuniya Bookstore. Eventually I bought Here We Go! (their 2nd album, 1st album released by J-Storm) and received ARASHI No. 1 ICHIGOU: Arashi wa Arashi wo Yobu (their debut album released by Pony Canyon) as a birthday gift from a friend.

I didn't really get in to the guys themselves until I first launched AMNOSnet back in October 2002. I'm more of a music person than the one who swoons and flails on the guys themselves anyway. Does that disqualify me as a fangirl? Haha :P

first of all, sorry for my bad english..


last year.... i watched hana yori dango (season 1)... luv that drama! i'm interested to know the actors, especially matsujun, although i don't think he's attractive (  oops sorry guys! ).... so i searched their bio thru wiki... ok, he's a  member of a group called Arashi... i keen to know who they are.... i read their bio... pretty cool.... i downloaded their songs..., watched the variety shows.....

until now, i'm stuck on Arashi....

Hey, I am from Canada too, to be more specific Toronto, Ontario =) nice to meet you!

I knew about them few years ago but wasn't really into to them .  I know Matsujun since I watched Hana Yori Dango, but beyond that I knew nothing about the other group members that's include their music and variety shows.

It was around this year..August 2009, dont really remember, my friend told me about Arashi new song 5x10, listen to it and I love it plus she also showed me HnA ep 13 and 17..I thought it was cool and later on AnS..I watched a few eps and thought it was hilarious! :winky: I started to research about the members and looked into their music and I actually enjoy a lot of their music especially Truth and Happiness =).  I became their fan after watching more and more Ans..lolz..I thought their chemistry was great, I can see their bond between each group members. From there I want to know more about each of the members.  So I started to watch their drama, pretty much anything that has Arashi in it.  So when I finally decided to watch Maou..I fell in Love with Ohno~ hehe and from there I became his fan..

I just love how Arashi as a group is =)

p.s I Love them on Utaban LOL.

Im from the Maryland in the U.S. I started watching asian dramas a couple of years ago I cant recall if I saw Jun in Gokusan, or HYD first but I thought he was so good looking that I googled him and then found out about Arashi and It's been love ever since lol

As for myself I first learned of Arashi in the very same way! ^_^ I watched HYD because I loved Oguri Shun and then, as soon as I saw Matsujun I adored him! ^_^  I guess I was Jun baited.  :x):   Jun heart

Then I started watching their videos and just thought... woah! Arashi = AWESOME!
