I keep feeling this urge to write fan letters to them, to give them moral support, to let them know that their fans are increasing even overseas. -.- But there are many obstacles...

1) I can't write Japanese
2) They can't read English(except Sho but that's besides the point :x):, I want them all to understand)
3) I don't have their e-mails
4) Even if they read it out on air or something, I wouldn't know it.

I have often thought about writing them letters of encouragement also...but like silverfa I can't write Japanese (I took a semester of it in college but the class was so rushed that I don't remember much of what I learned). I do have some Japanese friends that could help me write one though. I just wasn't sure about them actually getting any letters or possible responses.

Does anyone know if they respond to the e-mails or just read them on air? I am trying to figure out what is the best option and what might possibly get a response back from them lol.

The biggest problem in this issue is that fanmailing has some really strict rules @ Johnny's >_<
You should read these LOOONG rules before you write to them (rules can be found on Rising Storm homepage).. and after that you still only have a one-to-zillion chance of them getting the letter. They have A LOT OF fans, and a LOT of fans are writing to them T_T...

hi all~

all i can say is relax. try emailing them via their radio shows. esp Sho's, given the fact that he can understand english better than the rest of the fellas and there's history that he did read out an english email before.

and... about all those rules. well, lets look at it this way. the only thing we can do is try deshou? if it reaches the hands of the boys, yay~ if not... well... at least you did try to put across what you said to them? and lets be fair, they are so busy that if they can read a letter, i think its really nice of em.

of course we would want them to read the letters, and to have a reply from them. but if they don't, at least you know you did you part eh? that you did send something in to send your moral support.

i think there's a thread here that stores their email ady and stuff, thanks to xiaowanzi.

so... go ahead and do it. don't think so much about it. ne?

Have any one place an order (pre-order) that is? Yesasia still doesn't have it, but CDJapan have it already on pre-order.  :yahoo: I place mind already for BOTH the normal and limited edition. I even got my confirmation e-mail  laugh  I'm drooling as if it has been released already drool

I preordered also! I wanted to get both, but I'm kinda poor so I'm just buying the regular edition... I might end up caving and buying the limited too though. :x):

I think it's good that CDJapan released before yesasia, cause I've heard before that yesasia sales don't count toward the oricon, but cdjapan does! So everybody should buy from cdjapan~~ :yes:

i'm newly here this my first post, i'm very glad that i can with people that have the same intrest.
I know ARASHI  when  i watch JUN dorama Gokusen, at that moment i dont know if JUN is a member of ARASHI, when i look more about JUN and i find about ARASHI,
They are a great boys can singing, can act, can do everything.
I like to hear about ARASHI more.
There is a lot things that i still dont know.

LOL.... you are one confused gal... jk :P  I'll answer this LOL.

J-STORM is a subsidiary recording company of Johnny's.  Johnny's all its own (full name: Johnny's Jimusho (Johnny & Associates)) is a talent scouting/training agency.  They also own two subsidiary recording companies--- Johnny's Entertainment and J-STORM.  Obviously, only Johnny's-managed idols can only be produced under one of these two record labels, BUT NOT ALL JOHNNY'S IDOLS/ARTISTS are signed under either one of the two.

For instance, V6 and Tackey & Tsubasa are under Avex (I think SMAP is also under Avex too, not sure), while TOKIO is under Universal Music Corp (Japan).  Shounentai (very "vintage" Johnny's group), KinKi Kids, and NewS are under Johnny's Entertainment.

Okay, bringing up Arashi this time.  When Arashi debuted back in 1999, they were signed under the label Pony Canyon (some of you may know that Pony Canyon signed WFL (w-inds., FLAME, Lead)).  Pony Canyon produced Arashi's first singles (from A-RA-SHI to Jidai) and their first album, Arashi Ichigou (Arashi wa Arashi wo Yobu).  Arashi has been under Pony Canyon from 1999 till 2002 when Johnny's established J-STORM, their 2nd subsidiary record company.

This is just a speculation/theory of mine though, so don't assume that this is the real reason why Arashi switched record companies, but here goes LOL.  There could be some disagreements with the way Arashi has been managed through their recordings between Johnny's and Pony Canyon, so that could be one reason why Johnny's yanked Arashi out of Pony Canyon.  Another possible reason could be this: Pony Canyon (I'm not sure if I'm saying this right--- someone correct me if I'm wrong) established Vision Factory, a new agency that also caters to male idols/artists in 2001, and their first artist/idols to sign under Vision Factory is (yup, you guessed it!)--- w-inds.!  If you think about it, Arashi and w-inds. by name alone sounded very similar (arashi = storm, w-inds. = you know, "wind" LOL), plus w-inds. music is also of similar genre and style as Arashi (R&B/hip-hop pop).  Johnny's obviously did not want a "clone" boy group to be under the same label as Arashi, so they made their move and formed J-STORM and yanked Arashi out of Pony Canyon and re-signed them under the new label J-STORM.  At least w/ J-STORM, Johnny's have "full" control of managing Arashi rather than an "outside party" like Pony Canyon managing their group.

Obviously, the name J-STORM is named after Arashi (again, "arashi" = storm LOL), so primarily, this record label is meant for Arashi ONLY.  And then earleir this year, Johnny's established another sub-subsidiary record label company called J-ONE, which is KAT-TUN's record label.  Here's the weird part.  J-ONE is part of J-STORM, which is a part of Johnny's.... LOL.

Bottom line--- Arashi (and other Johnny's groups) do not make the decisions for themselves--- Johnny's management does... so Arashi did not "make" J-STORM--- Johnny's did. x.x
