i really have to say this...

but..among arashi...
sho's the one i really respect the most.

i dont know why..
its probably cos...he graduated from tokyo u...right?

and...i just find him..really...really...
kakkoi...  :blink1: :blink1: :blink1:

Keio U, actually, but they're both considered among Japan's "Ivy league" level institutions.

I've always wondered how well Sho-kun actually did in school.  I mean, I know he graduated, but you can graduate with a 65% average and no one will know the difference because it doesn't show up on your degree.  I'm not saying he's dumb, but being a celebrity eats up a lot of a person's time and leaves very little for everything else, including school.  On the flip side though, Sho's 10,000 word essay from Arashigoto shows his very academic focus and his families academic focus, so who knows?

hehe...you just said it..
yeah..being a celebrity and all..
the schedules...shows..concerts...tapings...

but hes still able to finish hes studies..
i really admire him for that..
since not many from JE..
finishes their studies...

Exactly, that's what I was going to say. Even if he had graduated with a 65% that wouldn't make him dumb - but simply a very dedicated and studious boy who, no matter how extremely busy he was with work, found the time and EFFORT to study and  graduate. -- So, this only adds more value to what he did. Kudos to him.

Keio is one of the top two private universities in japan, the other being waseda
read from newspaper long time back that he actually graduate with double degrees!!! got to take my hat off him~~~

and think he really studied hard for it cause he said in some interviews that he doesn't like to lose and he doesn't want people to think that he goes to keio is just for show e.g. skipped classes after they got a place in the university to handle work and meet the minimum requirements for attendance in order to graduate.....he took pride in his 'sleeping' record-7 hours of sleep in a WEEk!!! during the time when he was juggling with his exams and work....

i almost fainted when i read about that ...cause i am someone who cannot survive with less than 8 hours of sleep a day

 my 1st post and its in shokun thread...
love him...and nino..but love him more....

don't mind if he found himself a girlfren tho' (be sad for 30 minutes than it'll be fine)
as long as he is happy & keep on smiling, i'll be supporting him all the way..

watched Honey&Clover the anime...sho-chan will be playing a very cute character.
but i find that the anime is *yawn* dragging...beautiful but dragging.
hope the drama won't be like that.

But this is exactly what I'm on about - if someone doesn't have the time to fully commit themselves to university, what is the point in going?  That just means that you're there for the sake of only getting a degree.  Graduating with only the minimum requirement means that you're not taking your higher education seriously.

Now, what I said earlier was pure speculation.  As Himitsu has pointed out, Sho graduated with a double degree, which just earns so much more respect for him.  Judging from what he's said in the past too, I don't think Sho-kun would be the type to do a half-assed job in university but family pressures can be really strong if they wanted him to get that piece of paper when he didn't want it.

I once read somewhere that Sho-kun would like to do a Masters in History.  Can any of you imagine him as a historian?  In my mind, I picture an old man, smoking a pipe while wearing a wool cardigan.  LOL...goshies...imagine Sho like that!

If you can take out the part of him being old, I think he would be a very sexy professor under that pipe, glasses, cardigan, historical manuals etc.. Think Indiana Jones...  :heehee:

.....nope.  Impossible.  Historian is invariably linked with old in my brain.  LOL
It's all good though!  I'll gladly grow old and boring with Sho-kun!

 Hey minna
Sho-kun will be a stage play/musical next spring. His role will be a young soccer player whose team is trying to win a regional soccer tournament. This play is set in 1969, Belfast, Ireland. Called beautiful game, it was originally staged in London in 2000 as a musical produced by  Andrew Lloyd Webber. The play focuses on the aspirations of young soccer players as well as the divide between the protestants and Catholics.

Sho-kun says that he is very happy to be able to act in a play regarding soccer cos 2006 is also the year of the Scoccer world cup tournament.

The play will  be staged both in Osaka for 2 weeks from the middle of april 06 to the end of april and in Tokyo from end of march 06 to middle of April.

Mitai mitai......

I read in a Japanses arashi BBS that at the handshake event for Arashi last weekend,Sho-kun was cho kakkoi...... he was apparently wearing some black jacket and he was really yasashi (kind). But, alot of fans said that he was really thin, thinner than he appeared on TV and that in real life, his face was very small... :oh2:

Sho-kun, sho-kun, has that terrible ojisan in the mago mago boto made you train so hard that you have not been eating well??? :heehee:
