The new year will start off with some action from Jun. ^o^

The drama is called 'Lucky Seven'.

Jun will be playing the rookie in a 7-member detective agency.
Ooizumi Yo and Eita were announced as part of the cast.
It was reported that the detective agency would be made up of four men and three women.
The female cast has yet to be announced.

GANTZ director, Shinsuke Sato, will be at the helm of this Fuji TV drama.
Unlike the Jun's previous Getsu9 (Mon 9 p.m.), NatsuNiji, Lucky Seven promises to be an action-packed drama.

Lucky Seven is slated to start airing in January 2012. ^^

First glimpse(?) of Detective Jun will be in Ohno's drama SP on 3rd Jan.
Jun and Sho as Kageyama-butler, will be guest-starring alongside Kidnapper Ohno.

Naka Riisa (detective) is also in. Nino's 'female twin'. :D

Others in the cast are Kadono Takuzo (old male det.), Iriki Mari (female det.), Fukiishi Kazue (police) and Okae Kumiko (Jun's mother...?).

4 male det + 3 female det + 1 police + mother = Lucky Seven ^^

The detective agency will be set in a high-class apartment. Lady Boss must be rich. :P
(Sounds like Kageyama-butler can so exist in Lucky Seven's world )

Koyama Keiichiro from NEWS will play Jun's younger brother. ^^

Lucky Seven is best viewed at the highest quality you can get. The action scenes are so beautifully choreographed and shot. ^^

The humour is spot-on as well. They really tickled my fancy. The chemistry between Jun, Eita and Oizumi Yo is brilliant.

Those are the main highlights of the drama for me: action, humour and the 3 male leads' chemistry. Especially the action scenes. GANTZ director really left his mark. I love it!

The Jun vs Eita fight scene in the first episode left my siblings and I simultaneously in awe and in tears from laughing. The blend of action and humour was very well done. :D 

So far Eita is more prominent than Jun, I think. Not that I mind much, Eita's character is great. (I feel that Jun's character is a bit cliched... ^^;;)
I'm not really interested in the female characters except for the Boss. ^^;;

I will be following the series to see how the story and characters develop. I am curious with what the Boss is up to. Plus I am hoping to see more action scenes in the drama. ^^

By the way, the theme song by Arashi, 'Wild at heart', will be released on March 7, 2012.
