Yes, this is the other mystery-solving Arashi Spring drama. This is Aiba's first lead role on NTV. ^^

Aiba and a cat will star in 三毛猫ホームズの推理 - Mikeneko Holmes no Suiri - Mystery with Holmes, the tortoise-shell cat (Crime-solving with Holmes, the calico cat).

The drama is based on popular serial novel which started in 1978 by Akagawa Jirou.

Aiba plays Katayama Yoshitarou (片山 義太郎), a son of a famous police detective who has a hard time meeting up to his father's expectation to follow on his footsteps.
Katayama is weak with height, blood, women and ghosts which made detective work rather difficult.
Then he has a fated meeting with Holmes, a calico cat who can understand humans and has amazing reasoning skills. An unexpected crime-solving partnership is formed. ^^

Mikeneko Holmes no Suiri airs every Saturday night at 9:00 p.m. on NTV.

Spring is going to be fun~ I wonder if Aiba or an animal-trainer or a detective would come on Shiyagare for drama promotion or something. ^^ Saturdays will be filled with Aiba with his zoo show then this drama and ending with Shiyagare.
And Ohno drama team on VS Arashi?! Heck, they could totally have a three-way battle on VS Arashi with Ohno Team vs Aiba Team vs Arashi Team. Arashi can call on their senpais/juniors into their team.
It's neat that they're currently promoting the dramas side-by-side, even though they're on rival channels. ^^

Matsuko Deluxe will play the human version (avatar?) of the cat. ^^

She had appeared on Shiyagare before (twice? Once as Aniki and the other on a Christmas SP with Haruna Ai, I think). Her favourite is Nino. Fun times. :D

Apparently Sho watched her for inspiration for the sharp-tongued butler Kageyama. Matsuko Deluxe is known for her stinging comments and come backs. The cat is going to be awesome.
