I have pre-ordered the limited version of this one. And I don't regret it! I love the cover.
Well, the bus picture looks good too...

I can't wait to hear the new song (it's called 5x10 btw). I expect something like Cool&Soul and Re(mark)able but you never know with these guys lol.

I preordered it too!!! Live in Hong kong so theres CD shops where u can order it! (limited edition too! ^^)
was gona order it online on amazon.jp but they'r all gone within 2 hrs on d day the news was released!! (the power of Arashi~ :yahoo:)
nyway can't wait for it to come out!! 17 days to go~

i wonder how much this album is gunna sell~
the last time they had a best album it sold 187,526 up to now (according to wiki).

but this best has "truth" and other strong tracks as well as 32 tracks in total..

Also pre-ordered the LE after panicking a little....I would find it hard to believe that most sites ran out of copies within hours of it being on sale but this is Arashi we're talking about. Ne minna-san?

well they havn't had a "no.2" for some time now.

alot of girlbands for instance sell their singles in the way that their fans buy several copies at once and they might make no.1 for a few days with the surge of first day sales but after that its a heavy drop. even with alot of tv promotion, handshakes, gravure photobooks of the members and desperation they only sell around 50,000 copies and 100,000 is they are REALLY lucky.
but quite the opposite for Johhny's bands ive noticed. even with little promotion, just the apperances on music shows alone are enough to sell their music and they effortlessly reach no.1.

though generally the trend is that singles sell more than albums. especially with "best albums" because most of the fans already have all the tracks.
im really curious how much this album will sell.

well, not my first post anymore, but happy nonetheless :x):

i think for girlbands, the target market are guys, and if we compared the 'purchasing nature' of both sexes, i'd say guys areluckier that we're such generous spenders ne :x):

i haven't ordered >.< and i forgot to order when i was in japan  :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash:
now i'm relying on my friends outside from tokyo to buy the LE for me *pray for me!*

i do believe the sales for this Best Of album will be higher than the last one, just because Arashi is super famous now, and nothing so far this year had been below expectation ^^

^ lol i agree with you

im not saying male fans arnt loyal but the best selling bands like Arashi and TVXQ have a huge female fanbase. No matter what awful single is pumped out fans are still supportive, no matter what scandal hits the news popularity does not diminish. I also think despite explicit accusations to Johnny's company, it is alot more reasonable than other other companies.
Take AKB48 and Hello Project for instance, constant auditions, changing of members, graduating of "older members", unreasonable gravure shots and excessive fanservice for male fans..They keep changing the members to keep the groups "fresh" and young but it gives little time for the individual members to build up a solid fanbase.

If Arashi members had been changed every few years I don't think they would have reached the same peak of success they have now. And even without fanservice and excessive promotion they still sell, not only because of their personalities but because of their fan following.

I heard the new song is called 5x10. I wonder what it will sound like. Apparently, Arashi is going to write the lyrics for the song. Will it be like Sketch? I absolutely adore the lyrics in that song, and the rhythm is catchy too. I can't wait to buy the album!  :x):

I think Sho is doing up part of the lyrics... cos he made a mention of having been in his room the whole day writing the lyrics for their song... he also referenced ReMarkable, which they did last year... so, it could be something similar, with members inputs.   in love  can't wait to hear it!!!  :yahoo:

I can't wait for this. I wasn't able to order any because of lack of financial funds. Hopefully, I can get a copy once I'm financially equipped.  lol

But I love the two covers. I think that I won't regret buying the album. I pray that they'll grab the number 1 spot for this year!
