Pre-order on YesAsia available for US$26.25: (Yes, that's about US$10 more than the listed price. Then again, even with free shipping with minimum US$25, you can see that they have included the shipping fee in the price already. ^^;;)

Yes!!! Pre-ordered mine on Yesasia already. However, just wanna ask, has anyone ever encountered Yesasia not being able to get the item you want? I'm worried that they wouldn't be able to get it as many other sites has said that the book was out of stock. Demo, they would able to work out such stuff with the publisher right?? I hope I'm right. I'll regret my whole life if I dont get that book  crybaby  lol

Ya I'm kinda worried that my pre-order for the book my get canceled even though I already ordered it. Yesasia has already completely taken the link and the book off their website......

Really?!?! Now I'm honestly worried for my book... Maybe because they only got a certain amount from the publisher then the amount of orders has already exceeded so they took it off? In that case, erm.... we'll get our book right?

I heard that you'll have to wait for them to contact you to confirm your order. And now, most probably, they'll call (or email) to tell you, "I'm sorry, we were not able to accept your order of so-n-so because it is already our of print..." whatever. That's what I heard.

Yup mine got canceled from Yesasia... sigh... Seems like Japanese fans are havings a hard time getting it too. According to one japanese fan site, the 2 top keywords (#1, #2) for amazon.co.jp (Japan) was "Ohno Satoshi and "Freestyle". Seems like the book really is in high demand. They really shouod print more copies. :( There are so many Ohno fans out there...

Guess we can just hope somebody posts the pics on the net. :)

first: congratulations to Ohno-sama for finally getting your own art exhibition....i always wondered when you'd open up your own art exhibit, considering the fact that you said you don't go to art museums and you have never been to one before. but Omotesando Hills? kind of a small place, eh? and a shopping mall at that. i would've guessed that Ohno-sama would have an art exhibit at....say....maybe...Tokyo Midtown? maybe? but i'd never guess that Ohno-sama would choose to show off his art at a shopping mall.

second: i heard that the "Freestyle" book is (very) limited edition worldwide. that means that Japan gets the first pick, then the other major retailers (cdjapan, YesAsia, HMV, Amazon Japan etc) gets a smaller amount to sell. plus, i read on someone's blog that there's only a limited number of copies published (like around 2,000 or so).

third: i also read that Ohno-sama will only be making an appearance on only one day of this entire exhibition. so he'll only be there 1 day out of the 9 days that his art will be on display. and that date will be chosen at random.

good luck to those who wish to buy the book! and good luck to those who wish to go to the art exhibit! those lucky fans will probably get to see brand new artwork that has never been seen before.

P.S. Omotesando Hills is a very posh shopping mall in Harajuku (on Omotesando Street near the Aoyama district), and it's not very large in size and space, so it's not very accommodating to large crowds.

I tried ordering through Kinokuniya. They said that it has already sold out from pre-orders in Japan. So I think there's no luck for any of us outside-Japan fans through yesasia/cdjapan unless they print more copies....

When I ordered mine, I got a confirmation email.
Then I checked my account today, and it said it was cancelled.
I didn't get an email about it saying that either..
