The drama title: "Natsu no koi wa nijiiro ni kagayaku" which translates to something like "Summer love shines with the colours of the rainbow".

The basic love story for the main characters is "Tsundere man vs Genki woman" - Acting rough on the outside, but really a teddy-bear-on-the-inside-which-comes-out-to-play-once-in-a-while guy vs Energetic lady.

Matsumoto Jun's character - 楠大雅 - Kusunoki Taiga (?): Second generation actor who is under pressure and struggling to follow on his famous actor father's footsteps and burst out from his shadow.

Takeuchi Yuko's character - Shiori: An older woman with a mysterious past who Taiga fell in love with when he fell off the sky.

Their first encounter: Taiga went sky diving and his parachute malfunctioned which caused him to land on the trees and somehow or other met Shiori. Tune in to watch how that happened. :D

Jun is the first Arashi member to act in a Getsu9 (Monday 9pm - Mon9) drama and is feeling the pressure to come up to the expectations. Yuko is one of Nino's favourite actresses. ^^

The drama is scheduled to air in July 2010 on Fuji TV.

I heard apparently that on the drama poster, the theme song is listed as:

[Love Rainbow] Arashi (J-Storm)

 \:D/

The previous rumour I heard was that YUI was going to sing the theme/insert song. Hmm...

Now if "Love Rainbow" is true... Gear up for pre-order, fandom! :P
Even the title is just so Arashi. :x):

Dear all,

I just found this theme/insert song "Please Stay with Me - Yui" pv in fd and yt, here is the link for yt: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I5ALXR3Q0wM&feature=player_embedded.

I know this is Yui's song not Arashi, but hope don't mind I put it here, because it is a nice song.  :yes:

And also I don't know yt will delete it or not, because Sony Music in fd also use this link too!

I watched first episode and I can say that sometimes it reminds me HanaDan... Sometimes, for short whiles, Jun act like Domyouji... I can't wait for another episodes... I know that I will watch it till the end... And I like Love Rainbow.... ^^

I hope the ratings go up. From around 15 in episode 1 it lost 5 points the following episode. I hope the scriptwrites could add more twists so the drama becomes more interesting to the Japanese viewers.

ep1 15.7

ep4 12.1

I just finished watching ep1 to ep6 (with chinese subbed) in todou.com two days ago, seem interesting to me, I will continue until the final ep.  Jun heart

When the first eps came up people were saying it was not that big of a drama and I also read somewhere that even tought they were Arashi fans they wouldn't watch it because it was not that great.
But yey, I definitely don't think so! >_<

Ok, it's true that the bath/shower scenes with Taiga are always worth watching. xD But I think the story is developing really well. It's getting me really into it!

I'm so looking forward for the next eps to subbed! >_<
